Annual Renewal of Registration

Registered Dietitians are required to complete their Self-Directed Learning Tool and to renew their membership annually between August 15 and October 15. 

 
Members must update their profile information within 30 days of a change.

Under the Regulated Health Professions Act, the College has a responsibility to keep a current Register of Dietitians. Registered Dietitians are required by law to inform the College within 30 days of any changes in their contact or employment information. Also, during the renewal period, members must verify that their profile information is updated:

Make these changes in writing only:
  • Name
  • Change in immigration and citizenship status
Make these changes online:
  • Change of employer
  • Employer address
  • Employer phone number
  • Preferred mailing address and email
